  • Innovative Features

  • Flex Action Waist

Thoroughly tested in the field to meet the mobility requirements of top rated tactical pants, our unique sliding waistband allows extended motion and comfort during activity, with an extended gusset that runs through the crotch and inside leg for non-binding flexibility.

    Fortified Belt Loops

Three reinforced belt loops, located on sides and center back, stay strong under demanding loads of tactical or law enforcement gear. Durable webbing inserts, triple topstitching, and bartacks at key stress points eliminate concerns of ripping under force, while maximizing strength and security.

    Enhanced Pocket Design

More cargo pockets than most tactical pants on the market, coupled with multiple options for storage, security, and organization, means more gear available on the go. Layers of nylon fabric on the back and side pockets are tightly welded together for increased durability while shedding bulk and maintaining a polished, professional look throughout the life of the pants.

By far my favorite pants! A bit heavy weight for warm weather but perfect fall, winter, or spring. Extremely comfortable, very large and usable pockets. Also, I've yet to get a stain on these pants. I see they are closing them out, I really hope they are not being discontinued. Hopefully they are just making small improvements/changes. About the only suggestion I offer is to make these in a bigger color selection. Thanks for a very well made and designed piece of clothing!!

I've had these pants for over a year now and I feel as though I can give a qualified review of their performance. I have been using these exclusively as my uniform pants for working as a Corrections Officer. I have to say they have been excellent. Comfort is way above par. Pockets are great. The sizing is excellent for me and the pants fit very well. I hadn't realized I wanted pants that could stretch until I got these and most certainly will not be looking back. The ability to get into all of the necessary contortionist positions required to effectively search cells is huge for me. Durability has been outstanding, stitching is all still secure, hook and loop is all still perfect.

These are great pants, I just wish they came in a couple more colors, especially now that my agency has changed uniform colors and First Tactical doesn't offer these in the necessary color. The only "issues" with them have been the following. The fabric is a little fuzzy when you first get them so they will attract lint and pet hair like a magnet until they're washed a few times and the button on the interior of the pants (not the Prym snap) fell off a while ago but I haven't found it necessary to repair that. I generally work inside so it's not really a concern for me but I can imagine these could get a little warm in the dead of the NC summer heat and humidity.

Needing more pockets for work/play/caretaker duties so finally found the best slacks in the world, no more stingy Dockers/etc. pockets for me.
Doing business with these folks is like with family = rare these days. Nothing but pleasing you is on their minds.

Suggestion to webmaster:
Although I hold an advanced professional degree, I would really love to see some sort of a comparison chart for the slacks offered.
It's great to filter by gender or size, even preview colors offered but
illustrations side-side of the features that distinguish EMS from tactical from whatever would help make
firm buying decisions with fewer returns
encourage larger orders
remind what-is-what when reordering after memory has faded and something new is desired

No better tactical pant on the market today. Every aspect of the pant shows thorough thought and careful consideration. Fit is excellent and I love the fabric with the mechanical stretch. Very comfortable. The pockets are well positioned and functional, especially the seat pockets without unnecessary flaps or fasteners. The pants have a professional appearance as well as edgy styling. I recommend these to everyone.

We had the pleasure of our local sales rep. coming and introducing First Tactical to our PD, David allowed us to look at a lot of different options and explained the benefits of First Tactical's various products. I had been looking for a flexible pair of pants to wear on Duty as I currently have a pair of the competition's flex pants and there's no comparison these are the pants to go with. If your a short pudgy feller like myself and need room in your pants and a little give to keep them from ripping out you are looking at the right pants. I've been an Officer for Ten Years now and I've NEVER had a pair of duty pants that I have been willing to wear when I got off duty. I've had these for two weeks and worn them for 16 hours plus three times already and in our coldest weather of the year they have performed fantastic with long underwear on underneath and are still comfortable. First Tactical has hit the nail on the head with These pants I can't wait for more color options. I will be a long time customer Keep it up guys and gals.

I've been wearing the 5.11 Stryke pants on the job for almost a year. I met a FT rep at an event and was impressed with what he had to show. I ordered a pair of the Tactix Tactical pants because it closely resembled the Stryke pant. Right out of the package, I liked what I saw. The rear pockets got rid of the flap that no one ever uses. Knife pocket, perfect size for my Iphone 6 and Galaxy S7...yes I have two phones =)

You know what? Just try them for yourself.

Very well made pants. The material is comfortable and rugged. I especially like the waistband, and the stay flat pocket flaps provide a very clean, professional look. The only negatives for me:
1. I would like the cargo pockets to be slightly wider
2. The magazine/sap pockets are too deep. Not wide enough for an AR magazine (and I wouldn't use it for this purpose if it was)and any other items drop to deep for quick access. It will fit a full length sap rather nicely, though. I would eliminate these pockets from future models or shorten them significantly
3. I would like to see them in OD or a darker shade of Khaki/Coyote Brown. The tan are more of a stone color and show dirt pretty quickly.

All in all, I am very pleased with them and would/will make future purchases. I also have a pair of the BDU pants and like them as well
