Approximately a year ago, I received the Crosshatch Sling bag from First Tactical as a gift from my Father. I expressed interest in this bag because of its multi accessible pockets and low profile. I am a Law Enforcement Sniper assigned to a Tennessee Sheriffs Office. The Crosshatch has been able to hold everything I needed on a Callout, to include a Range Finder, Spotting Scope and stand, pens, lens cleaner pen, writing pen, zip cuffs, knives, rope, string, compass, tourniquet, boonie cap, gloves, and more. The convenience of being able to unsnap one link and move the bag to the front for accessibility has been a great convenience. With the Compression straps keeping the profile low, I have been able to keep the bag on me and low crawled more than 100 yards and the bag never got in the way, obstructed me from getting from point A to B, or gave away my position. I recently wore the Crosshatch Sling bag on a multiday, Multijurisdictional manhunt for a Fugitive. Two weeks prior to this manhunt, I injured my right shoulder. Due to the ability of this bag to change from one shoulder carry to the other shoulder in only two snaps, I was able to do this while walking in the woods on a track within a team and not miss a beat. During the time of owning the Crosshatch Sling bag, I have washed it in the Washing machine three times. I only washed it due to a sugary substance getting on it, Gatorade. I was pleased to see that no stitches came out during the wash. I did hang dry the bag. I did want the Sling bag in Multicam, but it did not come in that color. I got the Coyote brown and was able to paint it to match the surroundings. Threw the many Callouts, both urban and rural, the Crosshatch Sling Bag has done great. I have nothing but Great things to say about the performance, durability, and convenience of the Crosshatch Sling bag.
