Lynx™ Laser Cut Platform Compatible with MOLLE/PALS
A new take on the traditional web platform offers twice the mounting positions and tests 20% stronger than that of other tactical bags. Two layers of 500D nylon fabric are laminated together for extra strength with a low profile, while our laser cut slat system is both strong and smart, and offers twice the usable loops to position additional gear.
First Tactical’s Hook and Hang Thru™ System
Ingenious Hook and Hang Thru™ System compartment unzips top and bottom, allowing specialized items like First Tactical’s Rifle Sleeve or other oversized tactical gear or hanging items to slide through and securely hook & hang in place.
Removable Compression Straps
Completely repositionable or removable straps allow optimal personalization of your pack.
The backpack is my favorite one, the material is so durable and the bag is very comfortable, feel great on my back.
Use it for a vacation, and I will definitely keep use it for my EDC.
Love this backpack, and will recommend it to anyone who wants a really durable and great backpack.
Second, the shoulder straps are adjustable. There is an adjustment inside the back panel where you can have the entire shoulder strap come out more. This is *much* better than just adjusting the length of the shoulder strap by cinching up the strap near its attachment at the bottom, because it actually moves where the pads are on your shoulder. For taller people, the shoulder pads and chest strap are often in the wrong place; but not with this backpack!
My biggest criticism is that it does not have a waist strap. It does have loops where you can attach a waist strap, and that helps, but I'd like it to have an optional nice load-bearing waist belt designed for load transfer, rather than a simple nylon belt.
Coupled with a rifle sleeve, carries anything I could really want for a range trip.
Have done some limited hiking with a rifle and light load in it, fairly comfortable all in all.
Would like to see it ship with waist strap and a couple extra compression straps for 2 on each side. Also, something more than the j-hook buckles to secure a rifle sleeve would be an improvement as if you handle it by the sleeve they will separate.
A good rain cover is all you need to make this the perfect everyday goto backpack
